I. Summerization:

Multifunction Network Energy Meter is a advanced metering product for power management, which is based on the hardware platform of high-performance 32-bit embedded RISC CPU (ARM9 core), the soft platform of real-time embedded LINUX operating system and high-accuracy energy measuring technology. It features powerful function, simple operation, stable working and easy maintenance, so it can easily and flexibly be configured as remote reading terminals, destribution monitor terminals or other equipments as as to meet the present real or future potential application demand of all modern power companies.

II . Basic functions and characteristic:

1. Consumption measuring function: It can measure current positive and reverse active consumption, four-quadrant total reactive consumption and time-share consumption, as well as last six month consumption of above items. It can also measure positive and reverse active consumption for each phase.

2. Demand record function: It can record current positive and reverse total active maximum demand, positive and reverse total reactive maximum demand, time-share maximum demand and its happening time.

3. It can measure instantaneous voltage, current, power, power factor for each phase, grid frequency and some other parameters.

4. It can record daily extremal value, voltage passing rate, power factor passing rate, monthly relying rate of power supply.

5. It can record losing voltage, losing current and other events, and can provide data collection.

6. It has self-diagnosis function for low voltage, losing phase, losing current, internal program error, clock oscillator frequency error, memory failure or damage and hardware failure, etc.

7. It can record the load representitive date.

8. It has load curve recording function. The starting time and interval period of recording load curve can be set up seperately, load curve can start to record from appointed time with the maximum record capacity of 16Mbit.

9. It has Zero hour consumption record function. The Zero hour consumption of last 100 days is recorded.

10. It can read meter even power off, supporting meter arousing and reading for more than 100 times by pushing buttom or using infrare device.

11. It has three kinds of error alarm mode such as LCD error alarm display, LED error alarm indicator, buzzer error alarm. Users can optionally choise and set any error alarm mode.

12. It has a big-screen dot-matrix LCD display with size of 192×64mm.

13. It adopts standard communication ports such as standard RS485 port and RS232 port (baud rate can be set to 1200 ~ 9600bps), modulation infrared communications port (baud rate is 1200bps).

14. It has programmable multifunction output port to output three test signals for clock test, demand period ending test and period switching test.

15. Its GPRS Communication Module has following function:

 Real-time test function: It can initiatively or summoning report the important information such as alarm events to master station so as to monitor the real-time spot operating condition of the meter.

SMS reporting function: It can realize SMS reporting function through GPRS module. When GPRS network failures, it will automatically activate modules by SMS to establish GPRS network connection and setup the parameters of GPRS module.

 Real-time online function: Its SPRS module can initiatively test online condition, and can reconnect with the master station once finding disconnection.

  Module hot-swappable function: Its GPRS wireless communication module can be disassembled even in the condition of power on due to its hot-swappable function.
